Through the Challenge, ITU encourages and supports the grow‑ ing community driving the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in networks and at the same time enhances the community driving ITU standardization work for AI/ML.
The ITU Challenge enables the collaborative culture necessary for success in emerging and future networks such as 5G and creates new opportunities for industry and academia to influence the evolution of ITU standards.
