El Reglamento general de protección de datos 679/2016 (GDPR) proporciona un número de nuevos instrumentos para ayudar a los controladores de datos a demostrar el cumplimiento de sus disposiciones. Los mecanismos de certificación introducidos en los artículos 42 y 43 GDPR se encuentran entre estos nuevos instrumentos. Hasta mayo de 2018, la Comisión y las autoridades nacionales de supervisión dentro del Grupo de Trabajo del Artículo 29 han estado tomando acciones para facilitar la creación de un entorno preparado para el cumplimiento desde el momento en que GDPR se vuelve aplicable. |
