en la Unión Europea la transformación digital juega un papel decisivo en la evolución presente y futura de nuestra economía y sociedad. 5 años antes del estallido de la pandemia Covid-19, la intuición de que conectar a personas, comunidades, empresas y gobiernos mediante el uso de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) ayudaría a crear y reforzar un entorno supranacional. El sistema sociocultural y, por lo tanto, el fortalecimiento del sentimiento de identidad europea ya era evidente en las prioridades de la Comisión Europea. Un mercado único digital para las transacciones en línea constituiría una oportunidad invaluable para que las empresas nuevas y existentes crezcan e impulsen la generación de más empleos de calidad. Los ciudadanos pueden y deben ser empoderados en su capacidad y habilidades para aprovechar al máximo la sociedad de la información, incluido el acceso sin problemas a las noticias y las redes sociales en sus dispositivos móviles e inteligentes, independientemente del país de residencia. Se pidió y se les pidió a los organismos gubernamentales de todos los niveles (desde el local hasta el regional y nacional) de todos los Estados miembros que digitalizaran los servicios públicos existentes y crearan nuevas instalaciones, de forma nativa en línea, para aumentar su calidad percibida, apertura, difusión y aceptación. |
