El informe analiza los progresos de China, la Unión Europea (UE) y Estados Unidos en materia de inteligencia artificial en los últimos años y actualiza una edición anterior publicada en 2019. Concluye que Estados Unidos sigue manteniendo una ventaja global considerable, pero que China está reduciendo la diferencia en algunas áreas importantes. Además, la UE continua quedándose atrás. A falta de cambios políticos significativos tanto en la UE como en Estados Unidos -en particular, la UE cambiando su sistema regulatorio para que sea más favorable a la innovación y Estados Unidos desarrollando y financiando una estrategia nacional en materia de inteligencia artificial más proactiva- es probable que la UE permanezca por detrás de ambos países y que China acabe cerrando la brecha con Estados Unidos. |
