En este informe se analiza el impacto de las políticas y regulaciones gubernamentales en el desempeño del sector de las TIC, medido por la inversión de capital, el despliegue de redes, los precios de los servicios, la demanda de los consumidores y, en última instancia, el impacto en la economía. Revisa si la competencia es un incentivo suficiente para impulsar una mejora y cuánto tiempo se necesita para que los cambios en la regulación y las políticas afecten el desempeño del sector. Para ello se utiliza un modelo econométrico basado en datos de 145 países entre 2008 y 2019. |
