La Comisión Europea, como parte de su política para fomentar la transformación digital y tener éxito en la década digital, promueve las capacidades digitales como un factor clave para mejorar la competitividad económica y la justicia social. Este informe proporciona evidencia sobre la disponibilidad de oferta de educación superior en inteligencia artificial, computación de alto rendimiento, ciberseguridad y ciencia de datos en el año académico 2020-2021.<br/>Algunas de las conclusiones son:<br/>- La oferta de la UE de programas de maestría especializados relacionados con la IA es mayor que la de los EE. UU. Incluso si el campo de la educación que domina la oferta de programas es Tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, también se observan participaciones notables en Ingeniería, manufactura y construcción.<br/>- En Ciberseguridad, la UE es la única zona que presenta una tendencia positiva durante el último año, tanto en másteres amplios como especializados. A pesar de esto, la oferta relacionada de la UE sigue siendo inferior a la de EE. UU. y la del Reino Unido.<br/>- En cuanto a las maestrías en ciencia de datos, EE. UU. mantiene la posición de liderazgo, entre las áreas consideradas para el estudio, en términos de número de programas ofrecidos. |
