Esta publicación ofrece un análisis de múltiples indicadores relacionados con el desarrollo de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) desde varias perspectivas. Aunque el enfoque geográfico está en los 27 Estados miembros de la Unión Europea (UE27), cuando es posible se proporciona una comparación con las principales potencias mundiales, como EE. UU. y China, entre otros. El análisis se estructura en cinco dimensiones: I) visión global del panorama de la IA II) industria, III) investigación y desarrollo (I+D) IV) tecnología y V) aspectos sociales.<br/>Algunos de los resultados son:<br/>- la IA se encuentra en una fase de evolución y mejora tecnológica<br/>- Estados Unidos ocupa una posición de liderazgo en el panorama mundial en términos económicos, le sigue China y la UE está en tercer lugar, pero varios elementos apoyan la tesis de que la distancia con los dos países líderes es menor de lo que a menudo se sugiere<br/>- El análisis revela que la UE se desempeña notablemente bien en I+D, más allá de la consideración de proyectos financiados por la CE<br/>- La UE demuestra especialización en servicios de IA y en robótica autónoma<br/>- Con respecto a las inversiones en IA, se observa una señal positiva para el desarrollo potencial del dominio en la Unión, ya que el nivel de inversiones públicas y privadas ha aumentado en los 27 Estados miembros de la UE en el último año. |
