El informe presenta los resultados del mapeo del uso de la IA en los servicios públicos. Los hallazgos se basan en tres pilares: 1) Un análisis de las estrategias nacionales de los Estados miembros europeos sobre IA que se centra en cómo estas estrategias describen acciones políticas para abordar el desarrollo de la IA en el sector público 2) un inventario de casos de uso de IA en el sector público para proporcionar una visión general del estado de la implementación de IA en Europa 3) estudios de casos en profundidad que describen en detalle los factores cruciales para el desarrollo y la adopción responsable de la IA y sus consecuencias. Los resultados destacan que el uso de la IA por parte de las administraciones públicas está creciendo y que las tecnologías de IA podrían mejorar significativamente la eficacia y la eficiencia de las administraciones públicas. Sin embargo, la difusión de la IA sigue siendo desigual, y la eliminación de las barreras para la adopción de la IA requiere una consideración significativa por parte de los formuladores de políticas.
