La política industrial digital se ha convertido en un tema candente en Europa. Los conceptos de economía de mercado global abierta e infraestructuras digitales sin fronteras ya no son parte integral de la agenda política. Las profundas crisis internacionales (como el cambio climático, la guerra y las amenazas cibernéticas), así como el retroceso contra el 'Consenso de Washington' han cambiado las percepciones sobre la política industrial. Paralelamente, las tecnologías digitales se han vuelto omnipresentes en todas las economías y sociedades, y su naturaleza transformadora, disruptiva y global ha convertido a lo “digital” en un tema fundamentalmente geopolítico.<br/><br/>En este contexto, el desarrollo de una base industrial sólida para estas tecnologías digitales se ha convertido en un determinante clave para la soberanía de la UE y de los Estados miembros, como lo demuestra el omnipresente debate sobre la autonomía estratégica. |
