La revisión de la Directiva de privacidad electrónica es una de las iniciativas clave destinadas a reforzar la confianza y la seguridad en los servicios digitales en la UE. Como parte de esta revisión, la Dirección General de Redes, Contenido y Tecnología de Comunicaciones (DG CONNECT) de la Comisión Europea encargó esta encuesta para evaluar las opiniones generales de los ciudadanos de la UE en relación con cuestiones clave que son parte de la privacidad en línea, en particular privacidad de las comunicaciones, seguimiento a través de Internet con cookies que requieren permiso / consentimiento, comunicaciones no solicitadas por correo electrónico y llamadas de marketing no deseadas. |

The review of the ePrivacy Directive is one of the key initiatives aimed at reinforcing trust and security in digital services in the EU. As part of this review, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) commissioned this survey to assess the general opinions of citizens across the EU in relation to key issues that are part of online privacy, in particular privacy of communications, tracking over the Internet with cookies requiring permission/consent, unsolicited communications by e-mail and unwanted marketing calls. |
